"No wi-fi and no tv were two of the main perks. The dark skies and end of the road location were the main attraction. The nearby hiking trails and endless beauty were the surprise. I felt safe with the codes on both doors to the residence and room. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked very well. "The suite was very clean and nice. The staff is very friendly and our free breakfast was good, except when I ordered, my eggs were supposed to be over easy and the chef scrambled them instead. The waiter had him remake the eggs correctly. The other problem we had was the TV downstairs wasn’t working and they got somebody to our suite to look into it. He got it so we could watch it, but the guide, so we could see what was available, never did work during our stay. Then, on the day we checked out, the outlet by the bathroom mirror didn’t work. I tried to push the reset button but it looked like a piece was missing from the outlet to do that."

"The young lady at the front desk was very courteous and helpful, she got me checked in and on my way in no time. I had dinner at the Lounge which was okay, the bartender was quick and friendly. I ordered the chicken strips and was disappointed to see 2 whole chicken strips and 2 half pieces with a smattering of fries, it did not seem worth $16. The room was large and the bed was very comfortable; I was happy to get a good night's sleep both nights with minimal noise from outside. I also utilized the gym and was pleasantly surprised to see that it was fully stocked and well maintained. Overall the hotel is a bit older, but I was satisfied with my stay and will likely stay here the next time I'm in town."
